The College of the Canyons Foundation is organizing an all-inclusive trip to Costa Rica during the spring 2017 semester, with students, staff and community members all invited to attend.
The trip will run from April 20-28, with participants also able to add an optional three-night ‘jungle adventure’ post tour to the end of the trip.
Travelers will have the chance to explore the country’s beaches, take a cruise, travel into the secluded Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and encounter the region’s incredible flora and fauna.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend a special information meeting being held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center, Room 301.
“This is the perfect trip for individuals who relish adventure and enjoy nature,” said Cathy Ritz, chief operating office of the COC Foundation and one of the trip’s organizers.
Other planned activities include zip lining through the rainforest, traversing through beautiful mountainous landscapes to the breathtaking views of the volcanoes, as well as seeing exotic wildlife and stunning waterfalls.
