Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a call Wednesday afternoon of a suspicious person in a vehicle, who they later discovered had two warrants for his arrest. Here is the breakdown from the station’s Facebook page.
We picked up two suspects – one with a felony, no-bail warrant, as well as a $50,000 warrant, at the Newhall 99 Cent store parking lot Wednesday.
Deputies responded around 12:30 p.m. to the Lyons Avenue location of the 99 Cent store regarding “a suspicious person in a vehicle” call.
Deputies made contact with a male transient, 20, and a Castaic woman, 26.
The male suspect was discovered to have a felony, no-bail warrant for assault with a deadly weapon and a $50,000 warrant for narcotics. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Station jail.
The female was found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. She was cited and released in the field.

What were the warrants, jay walking?
How do people look suspicious sitting in a car? That type of call is “a thing” apparently.
“a suspicious person in a vehicle” call.
You must have skimmed the story Travis. “no-bail warrant for assault with a deadly weapon and a $50,000 warrant for narcotics”.
Who cares what or what does not look suspicious sitting in a car. If they were model citizens then the sheriffs would have let them go. This used to be a no bull sh*t town then it got out of control. I applaud them for looking into this/ doing their job. Out with the scum is what I say.
Transient jogger?? You mean bum
