Why is it the DUI driver survives? I mean, they get punished(in a sense) but others die. So tragic. ?
?
So sad

CalTrans & police did a HORRID job on letting the public know there would be an hours-long closure until you were within sight of the closure itself. No one posted signs until after 6pm and it was too little too late. Who are the braindead officials responsible for letting the traveli8ng public know how INCOMPETENT they are? Letter going to all concerned.
TERRIBLE job by CalTrans & law enforcement in letting traveling public know about this hours-long closure until we were already within sight of the darn closure. Amateurs and runtbrained morons.

There needs to be SERIOUS penalties for DUI… something that changes their life because they change the lives of entire families forever.
And penalties for whoever supplied them the alcohol if there was a suspicion they were already drunk or were going to be driving.
Is alcohol REALLY worth all the death and destruction??
