Since Newhall Ice Company’s current owners closed the doors to the historic building and parked the delivery trucks for the last time on July 31, Acton Ice Delivery has continued its seven-day service to the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.

Acton Ice sells 20- and 40-pound bags of clear 1” cubes and is known for immediate delivery to restaurants, bars, country clubs and similar establishments when they run low or their ice machines break down.

Included among the company’s many customers are construction sites, motion picture caterers, weddings, special events and private parties.

Acton Ice Delivery is a regular supporter of the popular “Movie Night in the Park” on Wednesday evenings each summer in Acton Park.

Proudly riding in the front seat is Otis the Ice Dog who won First Place this year and Second Place the year before.

In addition to supporting the summer movie nights, the company is also a member of the Acton Agua Dulce Chamber of Commerce and the Acton Community Club.

The company does not sell to walk-up customers or carry block or dry ice. Those products can be found at most major supermarkets or Smart & Final stores.
