April 27, May 11: Job Fairs at New SCV McDonald’s Restaurant

Santa Clarita-based MS Restaurant Management will open a new McDonald’s restaurant franchise on The Old Road at Magic Mountain Parkway, and will hold job fairs Friday, April 27 and Friday, May 11 to hire as many as 100 employees.

The hiring events will take place at 23110 Valencia Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

Open jobs will range from full-time management to part-time staff positions. The starting pay will be $12 per hour.

Interested local residents can apply by texting “ApplyMCDSCV” to 36453, and search by zip code.

Slated to open in late June, the new franchise will be the fifth in Santa Clarita operated by Mark Schutz. It’s located on the former site of Marie Callender’s restaurant.

MS Restaurant Management’s other four McDonald’s locations on Decoro Avenue, at the corner of Valencia Boulevard and Bouquet Canyon Road, inside the Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall, and inside the Walmart in Carl Boyer Road in Canyon Country.

Schutz’ brother Jay is the principal of JS Restaurant Management, and owns two McDonald’s franchises in Canyon Country.

    Just an observation. This equals approximately 25,000 per year if full time. That was my starting salary upon graduation from law school in 84. How times have changed.
