The historic Rancho Camulos Museum will host its annual Artists’ Day at the museum in Piru on Friday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Long a favorite location for plein air painters and photographers, or anyone seeking quiet and tranquility, the Museum and its gardens will be looking their springtime best in early April.
Admission includes morning breakfast treats, coffee and tea, and a salad buffet luncheon prepared by museum volunteers.
Docent-led tours of the house museum will also be available.
As a bonus, Artists’ Day will also feature two recently acquired paintings by 19th-century California plein air master Alexander Harmer. Visitors will see portraits Harmer created of del Valle family members in the late 1800s on public view for the first time.
