AT&T launched ultra-fast internet service in additional cities in Los Angeles County, including in parts of Arcadia, Pasadena, Santa Clarita and surrounding areas.
They are offering a one gigabit connection to Los Angeles County homes, apartments and small business locations on our 100 percent fiber network powered by AT&T FiberSM.
Our fastest internet speed, AT&T Internet 1000, is now available at over 130 multifamily area properties, such as The Paseos at Magnolia and Palisades.
We previously announced ultra-fast internet speeds available in parts of Anaheim, Arcadia, Corona, Eastvale, Fontana, Glendale, Irvine, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palmdale and Riverside and surrounding communities. Today, we also announced that the service is available in part of Orange County, including parts of Anaheim, Fullerton, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Orange, San Clemente and surrounding areas. In Los Angeles County, we plan to expand access to ultra-fast internet speeds in parts of Alhambra, Culver City and South Gate in the future.
Los Angeles is one of 44 metros nationwide where our ultra-fast internet service is currently available. We plan to reach at least 67 metros with our fastest internet service.
We market our ultra-fast service to over 3 million locations nationwide, of which over 500,000 include apartments and condo units. We’re on track to meet the 12.5 million locations planned by mid-2019.

Internet-only pricing for customers who choose AT&T Internet 1000, our fastest speed tier on our 100 percent fiber network, starts as low as $90 a month. Customers may be able to add one of our award-winning DIRECTV or U-verse TV services. We have single, double and triple play offers to fit each customer’s needs.

We still do not have att cell service since they sold their tower to Verizon. Have to drive a mile down to Soledad Cyn to have my phone get a signal. Been a couple years now.Don’t believe them liars at all. We’re bundled and could not afford second provider plus data charges.

Phone, internet, cell pbone, data, is with ATT. Had to finally get TW service for cable and internet. Both services drop internet signals quite regularly so I can at least switch to the other when it happens. TW drops TV cable signal a lot also. Dislike both companies– they all lie to get your money.
I was just wondering if this “new” service is actually what is currently available through TWC since they were bought out by AT&T… or if this is actually something brand new.
Wow. Would be nice to see the change. Every time someone has issues, they disconnect our service and reconnect theirs. Then complain, set a service call, they then do the same to someone else. Lets hope they figure it all out.

Anyone currently getting their U Verse through existing copper telephone wires should refrain from breathlessly waiting for fiber in their neighborhood. This article only applies to those new neighborhoods that have arranged to get fiber to the house via the developer. The vast majority of homeowners in Santa Clarita will have to wait until a wireless connection is possible, someone figures out how to run fiber based internet access through the gas lines or over the electrical grid, or go with Time Warner (or whatever they call themselves lately(kinda sad that your customer service sucks so bad that you have to change the name of your company rather than upgrade the service……).
AT&T sucks, we have a speed of one (1) on a good day at Hasley Canyon. It is almost impossible to watch premium channels or Netflix movies. Browsing the net is very slow as well especially if there are multiple users.
Cellphone works only with a booster that we have installed and that drops on a regular basis.
At the business in Valencia the signal drops at least four times a month.

Where is there a good competition if you need it?
It doesn’t say if the high-speed Internet connection applies to the whole valley. I hate my TW service and the high bills and was looking to rebundle with Direct TV, but my son said it was not a good thing–Internet way to slow. Does this fix that?
So far AT&T in Santa Clarita has been junk. AT&T phone service was far better in rural Western Maryland. Internet service was far better there a well. The fastest internet I can get is 24Mbps in santa clarita, compared to 250Mbps in rural Appalachian Maryland. As of this weekend I am dumping AT&T.
Here we are, 2018 and no one I know has the speeds mentioned in this article anywhere in Santa Clarita. Maybe 5 Knolls? I have a feeling by the time I see it in my neighborhood I will be long into retirement or resting in peace. Just another hollow promise from our leaders and a business.
