Snapshot for 01/19/2014 to 01/25/2014
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
A residential burglary occurred near the 26800 block of Isabella Parkway. Person(s) unknown forced open the garage door and stole items from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A residential burglary occurred near the 18500 block of Delight Street. While the victim was taking a shower he heard his front door opening. He walked out to his living room to investigate and saw the suspect standing in his home. He yelled for the suspect to leave and suspect ran away. The victim called the police to report the incident and during their investigation the suspect was seen walking across the street by the victim. The deputies detained the suspect and ultimately arrested him for burglary. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 16700 block of Sierra Highway. While the victim was inside his residence he heard a dirt bike attempting to be started in his front yard. The victim walked outside and saw the suspect attempting to kick start one of his dirt bikes. The victim called the police and in seconds they arrived, detained the suspect and ultimately arrested him for burglary and other charges. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft auto occurred near the 27300 block of Camp Plenty Road. Person(s) unknown stole the victims vehicle which was parked in the street near the above location. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred near the 25500 block of Mountain Pass Road. Person(s) unknown entered the victims unlocked truck and stole numerous hand tools and power tools from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
