A burglary occurred on the 26700 block of 26700 Wyatt Ln. Person(s) unknown went into the open garage and stole a bicycle and numerous power tools.

Tip of the week: With the warmer weather now here, we can expect to see a lot more motorcycles on the road. What a lot of motorists do not know is that lane splitting by motorcycles (the act of riding a motorcycle between lanes of traffic) is not illegal in California when done in a safe and prudent manner. This is mostly allowed because when stuck in traffic, motorcyclists are harder to see and have a higher potential of being rear-ended which can cause great injury to the rider. Also, most motorcycles are air cooled, and can overheat when stuck in traffic. Motorists should not take it upon themselves to discourage motorcyclists from lane splitting. Intentionally blocking or impeding a motorcyclist in a way that could cause harm to the rider is illegal (CVC 22400).Opening a vehicle door to impede a motorcycle is illegal (CVC 22517). You can help keep motorcyclists and all road users safe by checking mirrors and blind spots, especially before changing lanes or turning. Signal your intentions before changing lanes or merging with traffic. Allow more following distance (three or four seconds) when behind a motorcycle so the motorcyclist has enough time to maneuver or stop in an emergency. Motorcyclist need to ride in a safe manner and use extreme caution when lane splitting. Never ride while tired, distracted, or when in a hurry. Always were proper DOT approved safety equipment. Never use ‘ear buds’ or any type of headphone for music while ridding. ALWAYS RIDE WITHIN YOU OWN LIMITS AND THE LIMITS OF YOUR MACHINE! It’s great weather for riding and we have an awesome city to ride in. Let’s all be safe and look out for each other while on the road.

Just because the kid lives in Stevenson ranch and not dumpy Lancaster doesn’t mean he’s rich. Every family has problems. People that live in the ghetto should understand that Preciosa Grijalva hood rat.
