I would like to remind residents that all fireworks (including those fireworks classified as “Safe and Sane”) are illegal within the city of Santa Clarita and unincorporated communities.
Deputies will be out on the 4th of July in force, both in uniform and in plain clothes. If you possess, or are seen shooting off illegal fireworks you will be arrested or cited.
Be a Good Neighbor – Don’t use Illegal Fireworks
Remember to lock your doors and windows, don’t leave packages or valuables in plain view, and be aware of your surroundings. Be a good neighbor and report suspicious behavior.
