Snapshot 05/20/2013 – 05/26/2013
This week in Canyon Country-East we had 7 Part-1 crimes. Of those reported crimes, there was 1 assault, 1 burglary, 4 larcenies and 1 stolen vehicle.
An assault occurred from the17800 block of Danielson Street on May 21st. The victim was stabbed in the stomach by the suspect. The suspect was arrested. READ MORE ABOUT IT [HERE].
A residential burglary occurred from the 27300 block of Rock Rose Lane on May 20th, between 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. The sliding glass door was smashed and electronics were stolen from a bedroom.
A grand theft occurred from the 27100 block of Medley Ridge. Batteries were stolen from the Time Warner electrical box. Theft from unlocked vehicles occurred from the 27400 block of Sophia Lane and 27000 block of Karns Court. A theft occurred from the Target store. The suspect was seen on surveillance video walking out of the store without paying for her items.
14 arrests were made by proactive deputies for various narcotics violations, assault, burglary, and drunk in public.
Continue to lock your windows, garage doors and make sure to also lock your vehicles.
