Join the City of Santa Clarita and the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHRSA) for a Special City Council Meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 11, at the Sulphur Springs Community School Multi-Purpose Room, located at 16628 Lost Canyon Road.
Representatives of CHSRA will present updated information about the overall high-speed rail project, with an emphasis on the Santa Clarita area.
“This is a great opportunity for residents to learn about the California High-Speed Rail project, which impacts many communities throughout the state. I hope the community will share their opinions at this meeting so we can incorporate feedback on how this project affects Santa Clarita,” commented Mayor Frank Ferry.
The community will also be briefed about the revised Business Plan, which is the roadmap for constructing the entire high-speed rail project. After the presentation, community members will have the opportunity to comment on the overall project.
The California High-Speed Rail is an electric powered train proposed to run from Los Angeles, through the Central Valley, and to San Francisco in under three hours.
