As we draw closer to the 4th of July, we would like to remind residents regarding the use of fireworks. A violation can carry stiff fines or even confinement in jail. Furthermore, property owners will be held responsible for violations, regardless of who shoots off the illegal fireworks. The City of Santa Clarita is having a fireworks display at the Valencia mall which will be open to residents throughout the valley.
Be a Good Neighbor – Don’t use Illegal Fireworks
Remember to lock your doors and windows, don’t leave packages or valuables in plain view, and be aware of your surroundings. Be a good neighbor and report suspicious behavior.
