Digitally altered images and travel photos from around the world will be on display this month at Valencia Art & Frame in the Granary Square shopping center.
The exhibit features the photographic fine art of Bruce McFarland and Christine Dellosso.
McFarland will be showing at least five traditional photographs and more than 20 of his new “Artistic Intervention” style of digitally altered images.
McFarland said he’s been taking pictures for 40 years and started a commercial photography business two years ago. He said he “developed a unique artistic presentation style” while working on his photographs.
“Earlier this year I began showing and selling my work as limited edition prints on canvas,” he said. “The response has been overwhelming. I am very excited and pleased to be creating artistic images from my photographs and sharing them with my friends.
Dellosso will be showing some of her fine-art travel photography, featuring people, places and nature.
The public is invited to a reception Friday, Nov. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the store, located at 25850 McBean Parkway. The exhibit runs through Nov. 30.
