Two hundred students from all six Hart District comprehensive high schools will be participating in the Annual Theatre Festival this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25. The festival is scheduled for Golden Valley High School Theatre on Friday and the Valencia High School on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This 9th year event features two dramatic and hilarious days of costumed scenes and monologues featuring the Hart District’s most ambitious and accomplished young actors and actresses.
Students will be judged by theater professionals from COC and professional actors. Students will also enjoy a morning of workshops in Shakespeare, fencing, movement and mask work.
This event, which brings students together from across the Santa Clarita Valley, is unique and has not been done in any other California school districts.
The community is welcome to attend anytime on Saturday at Valencia High School from 9 am – 3 pm. Admission is $5.
