The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will take networking to a whole new level at the first-ever Pop-Up Biz Expo on the CalArts campus in Valencia on Wednesday, June 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Businesses and community members will have the opportunity to engage with more than 80 local businesses throughout the evening in fields ranging from financial planning and law firms to travel agencies and fitness companies.
Local eateries like Stone Fire Grill, Wolf Creek, and The Old Town Junction will showcase their products. There will also be a cash bar serving event-themed cocktails.
“The Chamber is pleased to introduce this new, engaging expo format that aims to encourage business-to-client and business-to-business connections,” said Ivan Volschenk, SCV Chamber representative. “Our business members asked for a creative, new format to network and market their companies and we’re delivering on that request with the Pop-Up Biz Expo.”
“The Pop-Up Biz Expo is a perfect opportunity for Santa Clarita residents to learn more about local business and retail offerings and easily access a uniquely diverse group of some of SCV’s finest companies,” said Nancy Starczyk, chair of the SCV Chamber.
“Whether you need to fill an immediate professional need or just want to explore what our Valley has to offer, the POP-UP Expo is an event worth attending,” Starczyk said.
The Expo will take place in the Main Gallery at CalArts, 24700 McBean Parkway, Valencia 91355.
Admission to the Expo will be free for attendees.
Event sponsors include Wells Fargo, CalArts the City of Santa Clarita and Mellady Direct Marketing.
