Los Angeles County Assessor Jeffrey Prang unveiled a newly redesigned website Friday with several tools to make it easier for visitors to access services offered by the Assessor’s Office. The new and improved website features a completely overhauled layout, an enhanced and easier-to-navigate design, and improved search options.
“Our new website provides a fresh face and offers easier-to-use features to the public,“ said Assessor Jeffrey Prang. “Since our website is the first impression most LA County residents will have with our office, providing a smoother and quicker user experience was essential. The new website design is only the first step in our continued efforts to promote our services to LA County residents.”

A vast improvement from the previous design, the website uses a modern interface that provides requested information quickly and efficiently. The new website, which is accessible from a wide range of devices including smartphones and tablets, makes it easier for homeowners to find information relevant to them. Homeowners can use the website to find property maps and parcels, methods to reduce property taxes, and to file decline-in-value applications.
In addition, the website has sections dedicated to business owners and real estate professionals, and includes quick links to news, legislation, and open data.
