Kingston

lasd_sfmmFor the eleventh consecutive year, Six Flags Magic Mountain will collect food for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank during the annual “Bag-A-Ticket” holiday food drive.  On Wednesday, November 27, guests who bring a full bag of non-perishable food items will receive a FREE park admission ticket, good for that day.  All donated food will be given to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.  Through the public’s generous donations, this drive continues to be one of the largest single-day food collection efforts for the Food Bank.

Park hours for Wednesday, Nov. 27, are 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Food items will be collected from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Included on the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s “Most Wanted” List are:

* Canned Goods:  beef stew, ravioli, cannelloni, spaghetti, tuna, peanut butter, yams, chicken, beef, fruits, vegetables, soups, baby food

* Packaged Items:  hot cereal (grits, oatmeal, etc.), mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, powdered eggs, complete meals, pancake mixes, baby cereal, rice

* Drinks:  coffee, juices in non-breakable containers, supplemental drinks, baby formula, dry milk

The need for food supplies is at a record high and more families than ever are going hungry.  Help a family in need this holiday season with your donation and then treat your own family to an exciting day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, getting your fill of thrills on the best collection of world-class coasters and thrill rides around, including Full Throttle, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton, Tatsu, Goliath, Viper and more.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, north of Los Angeles off Interstate 5 at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit.    The Park will be open daily from  November 23 to December 1 and December 21 – January 5, 2014 (except Christmas Day).  For operating days and hours, call (661) 255-4111 or visit us online at sixflags.com.

Free Admission to Magic Mountain with $20 Toy Donation

sfmmlogoGet into the spirit of the season and help spread some holiday cheer!  Six Flags Magic Mountain will offer free admission to anyone bringing a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more to the theme park on December 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th for the annual TOYS FOR THE HOLIDAYS toy drive.  Price tag and/or receipt should accompany the toy.   Used, dirty or broken toys, open puzzles and toy guns will not be accepted.  Books, CDs, DVDs, and video games are not considered toys…they may be donated, but will not earn a free ticket.

In the more than 27 years since Six Flags Magic Mountain has been implementing toy drives, more than 500,000 toys have been collected for Southland youngsters making it one of the single most successful long-running holiday toy drive campaigns in the United States.  All toys collected during this year’s four-day event will be distributed with the help of UPS to thousands of children through local charities including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern California.

“The demand for toys is greater than it’s ever been as the number of underprivileged children in the Southland continues to grow,” stated Bonnie Rabjohn, Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain.  “We’re calling for all Southern Californians to contribute to the toy drive and help make this holiday season brighter for children of all ages and backgrounds.”

Free admission to Six Flags Magic Mountain with a toy donation includes unlimited use of the thrill park’s world-class roller coasters and thrill rides such as Full Throttle,  X2, Goliath, Tatsu, Colossus,  LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton, and more.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, north of Los Angeles off Interstate 5 at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit.    Currently, the Park is open weekends and select holidays, including November 25 – December 1 and December 21 – January 5, 2014 (except Christmas Day).  For operating days and hours, call (661) 255-4111 or visit us online at sixflags.com.
