The Silvertone Singers, in an effort to raise funding for the new Senior Center set to open in Spring 2019, presents a concert focusing on the theme of “Money.”
For a suggested donation of $5, you’ll enjoy such currency favorites as Money Makes the World Go ‘Round (from Cabaret), Buddy Can You Spare a Dime, Pennies From Heaven, Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend, All the Gold in California, Mansion Over the Hilltop, and many more.
Of course, no one is turned away for lack of donation, but every dollar collected will be used directly for the new Senior Center building. Each $5 donation will receive a raffle ticket, with additional donations earning additional tickets to increase chances of winning. Door prizes will be awarded after the concert.
So please bring your cash or checkbook to the Silvertones’ final fund-raising concert for the new building. Enjoy the music, meet new friends, dance a bit, partake of light refreshments, and perhaps go home with a nice prize.
The event will also include an art exhibit featuring masterpieces by SCV Senior Center art students.
The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 29, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the SCV Senior Center Dining Room, located at 22900 Market St, Santa Clarita, 91321.
Suggested Donation of $5 which includes one raffle ticket. Light Refreshments will be served.
