Leaders of a number of regional manufacturing companies in a range of industries – aerospace, biomedical devices, auto parts, more – will discuss jobs in today’s manufacturing world, skills required, career paths, and earnings potential.
The event is Manufacturing Day, held the evening of Oct. 1 in the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons staring at 6 p.m.
The event is designed to help participants learn how manufacturing, engineering, robotics, logistics and quality control play vital roles in shaping our world. The expert panel will encourage the audience to think of local manufacturers as a group of local innovators working in technical careers that are both rewarding and pay pretty well, too. The panel will entertain questions from the audience.
