The following is a snapshot of Part-1 crimes reported last week.

16 Part-1 crimes were reported in Zone 8 last week:

 

Assault:

18000 Block of Jakes Way – Suspect arrested after he got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend.

27000 Block of Rock Rose Lane – Suspect arrested after he kidnapped a woman he was dating. Suspect was additionally charged with assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats after he pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened her family.

18000 Block of Soledad Canyon Road – Four male Hispanics ages 20-30 beat the victim who was standing by his car saying goodnight to his girlfriend.

 

Robbery:

19000 Block of Golden Valley Road – Kohl’s – Suspect approached the victim with a hammer when the victim attempted to detain a female for shoplifting.

18000 Block of Anne’s Circle – Suspect arrested after he got into a physical altercation with his wife and forcibly took her cell phone from her hands.

 

Burglary:

15000 Block of Leigh Court – Suspect stole jewelry, passport, and checkbook belonging to the victim after gaining access to the residence by prying the garage door open.

29000 Sequoia Road – Victim scared victim off as he was climbing through an unlocked bedroom window. Suspect knocked at front door prior to trying to break in.

 

Larceny:

16000 Block of Sierra Hwy – Victim believes suspect stole jewelry while contracted to work at her residence.

17000 Block of Scherzinger Lane – Tool taken from the tool box in the bed of the victim’s truck. Tool box did not lock.

27000 Block of Solamint Road – Suspect stole items from the victim’s locked vehicle. No sign of forced entry.

30000 Block of Jasmine Valley Drive – Suspect smashed the window of the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse which was LEFT ON THE FRONT SEAT.

 

Grand Theft Auto:

27000 Block of Solamint Road – Suspect stole the victim’s 2000 Lincoln Towncar.

Sandy Dr X Jake’s Way – Suspect stole the victim’s 2001 Toyota Rav 4.

30000 Jasmine Valley – Suspect stole the victim’s 2008 Ford F150.

18000 Soledad Canyon Rd. – Suspect stole the victim’s 2005 Chrysler 300.

28000 Solamint Rd. – Suspect stole the victim’s 1991 Toyota Camry.

 

Arrest:

Proactive patrol deputies working in Zone 8 made a number of arrests for crimes of assault, criminal threats, strong-arm robbery, possession of a weapon, possession of illegal drugs and drunk in public.
