Canyon Country West, Zone 7

This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 crimes occurred:

(1) Residential Burglary, (1) Commercial Burglary, (1) Grand Theft, (1) GTA/(1) Attempt, (1) Shoplift and (1) Petty Theft.

On Friday, 01/18/2013, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., a commercial burglary occurred near the 20400 block of Soledad Canyon Road. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s storage shed and took several tools. The investigation is ongoing.

A grand theft occurred near the 16100 block of Sierra Highway. An unknown suspect took metal fence and post which was lying on the ground awaiting installation.

An attempted GTA occurred near the 19300 block of Stillmore Street. When the victim returned to the vehicle, which was parked in the carport area of the location, the rear passenger door was wide upon. Upon checking the interior of the vehicle, the victim noticed the ignition was damaged. The incident is currently under investigation.

On Wednesday, 01/16/2013, at approximately 9:25 p.m., a petty theft occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. Two suspects entered the location and walked out without paying for a basket full of items. The suspects were able to flee the scene prior to the arrival of deputy personnel.

There were several arrests made in Zone 7 last week. Arrests included petty theft, narcotics and weapons related charges.
