[Amada] – Orange County-based senior care company Amada Senior Care announced earlier this year that it would be expanding its business into Los Angeles County with the opening an office in the South Bay area. On Nov. 4, two new Amada franchise partners – Tony and Theresa Yoder – will be opening a second L.A. County office that will service the areas of Santa Clarita, Simi Valley, San Fernando, Chatsworth and the 118 corridor. This marks Amada’s 14th franchise partnership and is the latest step in the company’s nationwide growth strategy.
“The senior care market has really set itself apart as one of the fastest growing industries in the country,” said former NFL player Tafa Jefferson, Amada founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled to have Tony and Theresa representing the brand in Santa Clarita and the surrounding areas.”
Tony and Theresa live in Santa Clarita and have five children. For them, senior care provides a business opportunity that they feel will have a positive impact on their community. Tony comes from a military background, having served as a fighter pilot in the US Air Force. Theresa comes from a healthcare background and has serviced patients with a variety of care needs as a registered nurse.
“I became an RN because I enjoy being a part of the process people go through to get well,” said Theresa. “Senior care allows me to do that in other ways. Amada was perfect in that they’re a strong team of compassionate, caring, smart people who are also great business mentors. That’s a rare breed, and I’m excited to work with them to bring this type of care to my own community.”
The grand opening of Amada Senior Care – Santa Clarita will take place Monday, Nov. 4. For more information on Tony and Theresa’s business, visit their website at http://www.amadaseniorcare.com/santaclarita.
