[KHTS] – The world’s largest manufacturer of machine tools, SMTCL-Americas, is offering an added level of convenience and support for Santa Clarita Valley businesses in a variety of industries with their new marketing and training facility in Valencia.

Santa Clarita’s large industrial center is home to many aerospace, automotive and other engineering and manufacturing companies that could greatly benefit from having a large machine tool company right around the corner, according to SMTCL officials.Largest Machine Tool Manufacturer In The World SMTCL Now In Valencia.

“All over the Santa Clarita Valley, there’s people making titanium parts for airplanes, motorcycles, skateboards– there’s so much cool stuff going on here,” said CEO Jerry McCarty. “Any product that somebody wants to make, we help them do that.”

The new location is set to be used for customer training, distributor training and new product introductions, as well as “Lunch and Learn” series where Santa Clarita Valley customers can learn about new industry technologies.

“We’ve been getting a lot of customers up here in the Santa Clarita Valley,” McCarty continued. “We’ve got a lot of people that we need to support, and we support them with training and customer service, and figuring out what their next machine is or the next product that they need to make.”

Largest Machine Tool Manufacturer In The World SMTCL Now In Valencia SMTCL offers more than 300 products, including CNC boring mills, turning centers, machine centers, pipe threading machines, radial drills and more.

Current and potential Santa Clarita Valley customers can follow SMTCL on social media for updates on what company officials are doing, information on open houses, pictures of SMTCL machines and more.

“We do a thing called ‘SMTCL TV’ where we interview customers and people that have the machines,” McCarty said, giving an example of a man who makes Corvette parts. “It’s interesting to see.”

Through a network of 15 distributors in the United States, Canada and Mexico, SMTCL produces approximately 80,000 machine tools each year and serves customers in a variety of industries, including aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, electronics and job shop.
