An official with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the second of two victims from a fatal, head-on collision in Canyon Country.
Ashley Glick, 24, of Seattle, was a passenger in the car driven by Ellsworth J. Young, 27, of Mukilteo, Washington, who was also killed in the crash.
Young’s car, a blue Honda Element, was reportedly headed southbound when it veered into a northbound lane near 13130 Soledad Canyon Road in east Canyon Country.
The car collided with a Metrolink service truck carrying five people. None of the occupants was hurt in the crash.
Young was pronounced dead on scene. Glick was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Both were extricated from the vehicle using emergency equipment.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time, but it’s being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

Sad. Praying for family.
Hope it wasn’t due to texting! So sorry for their parents. P.s. These little cheap cars never protect the passengers. Better to buy a used bigger heavy one.

Small car or not, they went head on with a big ass truck. The kind that actually travels on the rails. Car had no chance.

http://abpworldgroup.com/tag/ellsworth-jerome-young/ Is she the girlfriend he abused just before he kidnapped his 3 month old child in January?
Either way, very sad for the families, and for the people in the truck that hit them.
Wow Donna, I didn’t relate the two stories.. Kind of fishy~
Where was the baby?!
wow! everything matches up in the story!
Ashley, I was wondering the same thing. If it was the same girl, I’m glad the baby was not with them.
I was just going to post this story. I wonder if this is the same couple. I hate to even say this. But maybe now this baby has a chance to live a healthy life? Praying for the family.
Yes it is the same. Read it this morning and said they are not sure where the baby is :(
No that was not the same girl as the abduction situation…it’s a bad situation overall but to me he was a good person that made horrible horrible choices… But he was my family either way
Sorry it was the same girl.. but the baby is fine prayer to all involved
So it is the girlfriend? Wow…. I hope we do hear who has the baby.
Sad. prayers for the family. to the rude people commenting on the car being cheap, FYI, a honda element is not a small cheap car. it is a 5 star safety rated suv that is still a top highly recommended used vehicle. not the biggest, not the smallest. anyhow head on accidents with much larger vehicles is a matter of physics, no matter the quality or safety ratings of your vehicle, bigger always wins.
How sad, another traffic accident. Prayers for everyone. Hope we here an update soon. CONCERN OVER THE BABY.
Baby is with family, and on my friend Ellsworth behalf, he wasn’t the aggressor in the domestic violence, Ashley was having psychotic episodes and threatened to put baby in the oven
To Karmen,
Stop being ignorant and making up false stories. Anyone who reads this can clearly see he was the aggressor. Just keep your opinions to yourself. To everyone else the baby Elianna, who isnt a baby anymore is doing amazing she stays with my brother & has a great life exelling in schooll, sports, etc.
Ellsworth had a lot of mental issues that he refused to seek help for. Ashley was a college graduate, mentor, getting her phd in phsycology.
