Oh man. My husband and I saw that on our way into work driving southbound. We saw yellow sheets spread about the freeway, I said wow I wonder what happened and my husband said he thought it was body parts. Sure enough we saw a coroner van pulling up. And now this news article confirms it. How sad.

I always think about suicide being a permanent solution to a temporary problem. So sorry this family has to go through such a tragedy. Of course I don’t know what he was going through it’s so sad that it ended this way. I will be praying for this family

Terrible
Heartbreaking ?
It’s a sad and selfish act. I lost someone in my family to suicide. Just heartbreaking all the way around. May he rip.
I really don’t think it’s fair for anyone to think it is a selfish act. There are so many people who suffer from mental illness (i.e.: depression, manic depressive bipolar disorder, schizophrenia etc.) and the pain is so horrible for them that they can no longer manage it. Those who don’t suffer from mental illness have no idea what they go through. Their minds don’t think like like those who are not ill. They don’t see other way out of the suffering. So many people who commit suicide have had suicidal thoughts for years, but fight it til they have no fight left. It’s so easy to say what you would do when you don’t suffer from something that affects your mind, your brain function and your reasoning, the diseases are real so please be compassionate.
Julie, I am entitled to my opinion..just a reminder. I say it’s a selfish act because of what my family is going through and still going through. My family member did not have a mental illness. DO not tell me to have compassion. I am a very compassionate person..How about not judging people.
