High School Basketball All-Stars Play Saturday

The Santa Clarita Valley’s best high school basketball players will get together one last time this year for the annual All-Star match-ups Saturday at Saugus High School. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m. for the girls and 7:30 p.m. for the boys.

It will be the fourth year SCVTV has televised the games, which are being presented by The Signal newspaper and benefit Bridges to Ability.

The girls game will air on SCVTV Monday, March 26, at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7 p.m.

Halftime in the girls game will feature a 3-point shooting contest, while the boys game will include a halftime slam-dunk contest.

Repeat telecasts are scheduled for Tuesday at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday night’s event at Saugus are $5; children 4 and under are free.

All proceeds will benefit the Bridges to Ability Foundation, which provides social, recreational, vocational and educational programs to teenagers and adults with disabilities.
