Everyone is invited to help those experiencing homelessness in our community by attending the annual “Soup for the Soul” fundraising and awareness event on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, beginning at 6 p.m.

The event, hosted by Bridge to Home, will be held at the Savia Campus of Real Life Church located at 23780 Newhall Avenue, Santa Clarita.

Soup for the Soul will include: gourmet soups, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, entertainment, plus a live and silent auction. Tickets are $50 per person and $500 for a table of 10.

“Soup for the Soul is a great way to support Bridge to Home, Santa Clarita’s year-round homeless support agency. In addition to the Winter Shelter, Bridge to Home provides year- round support services including case management, housing navigation and regular medical and dental clinics,” explains Hunt Braly, President of the Board of Directors for Bridge to Home.

    What month and date will the Santa Clarita Winter Weather Shelter open officially; I keep checking a I never see any posted, all I see is about Soup for the soul on Nov 19, 2016 yet nothing about the official month and date of the opening of the shelter for 2016.
