Foothill League Boys Cross Country Rankings for as of October 14, 2015.

1 West Ranch Finished 12th at the Clovis Invitational, despite missing runners Ryan Painter, Timothy Sterkel and Jake Carver. The Wildcats also moved back to No. 3 in this week’s CIF Southern Section Division 2 Rankings. (1)

2 Saugus Lost the Santa Clarita Valley Invite by two points, despite missing four of their top runners. The Centurions had six runners gap just 25 seconds on Castaic Lake’s hilly layout. They’re currently ranked No. 7 in this week’s CIF Southern Section Division 2 Rankings. (2)

3 Golden Valley Idle (3)

4 Valencia Sophomore Britain Reynolds led the Vikings at the Clovis Invite, clocking 16:35 over Woodward Park’s 5000-meter course. That mark is now No. 20 on Santa Clarita’s all-time high school sophomore list. (4)

5 Hart Brandon Estrada once again led the Indians at the Palos Verdes Invite, running 10:56 over a difficult two-mile course. (5)

6 Canyon Ran without last year’s top runner, sophomore Jacob Velarde, but were represented well by freshman sensation Ethan Danforth, younger brother of former standout Kyla. The ninth-grader finished second in the frosh/soph race at the SCV Invite, covering Castaic Lake’s three-mile hilly course in a big personal best of 16:20. (6)
