Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the Week of 08/17/15 – 08/23/2015

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

There was a residential burglary reported near the 30300 block of Quail Trail. An unknown suspect stole multiple firearms from the victim’s home.

There was a theft of vehicle registration tags reported near the 20300 block of Dorothy Street. The victim is unsure of when or where the theft occurred.

A grand theft was reported near the 22200 block of Canones Circle. The suspect stole a blue duffle bag that was on the sidewalk next to her RV. The bag contained an RV stabilizer.

A grand theft auto was reported from Guadilamar Drive. The victim’s 1999 white Ford F150 was stolen from the location. This vehicle is still outstanding.

We have seen several theft from vehicles in the last few weeks. Most of these incidents could have been avoided if the victim had locked their car doors and removed valuable items from their vehicles. Please remember to lock your car doors to avoid becoming a victim of a property crime.
