SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — 2015 proved to be another exciting year for The Master’s College Athletic Department. Across the board, TMC’s student-athletes produced some of the most memorable moments in school history. The countdown of the top ten moments of 2015 continues with number four.
4) Men’s Cross Country Wins Sixth Consecutive GSAC Championship, Schroeder Earns Conference Coach of the Year
On Nov. 7, the men’s cross country team placed first out of nine teams, with an overall team time of 2:11:33.91, at the 2015 GSAC Championship meet held at Irvine Regional Park. Being crowned champions for the sixth consecutive year, the Mustangs surpassed the previous record of five titles held by former GSAC member Point Loma since the 1980s.
In addition, head coach Zach Schroeder was named the GSAC’s Coach of the Year for the sixth year in a row.
