gilchrestfarmGilchrist Farm, a family farm on Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita (about 1 mile past Lombardi), is seeking local non-profits, clubs, educational organizations, Scouts, teams and other groups to participate in the bake sale fundraiser during their upcoming Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch taking place Oct. 1-31.

School bands, theater groups, martial arts academies, cheer squads, and other performing groups are also invited to perform on stage each weekend.

The Gilchrist Farm Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch will be open October 1-31 from 9AM-6PM daily. During the week, field trips are being offered Wednesday-Friday. Weekend activities will include a pumpkin patch, straw bale maze, petting zoo, pony rides, horse drawn wagon rides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, food vendors and more!

  17. The Lombardi family has long served this valley. They deserve to retire. I am really sorry to see this time come because change is hard. I am happy that someone has decided to help this tradition along. I hope they enjoy the challenge. God bless.

    • Hi Connie! We worked together once, at one of the schools. I also know your daughter, Sam. I am friends with both Julia (Lombardi) Kaulbach, and the Gilchrist family. They are both wonderful!

    I too will miss Lombardi. I raised my kids and some of my grandkids going there.

    I am really please someone I taking up the mantle. I will make sure to go there and take my grandson to pick out his pumpkin this year.
