Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary announced that Ernie Maldonado joined the company as sales manager and that Steve Quach, who started at Eternal Valley five years ago, was promoted to assistant sales manager.
The company also announced it added six family service counselors and two preplanning advisors.
“Steve has been a tremendous asset to the Eternal Valley team and we are confident that he will serve as a mentor to our growing staff while assisting the families we serve,” said Curtis Woods, II, general manager of Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
As the new assistant sales manager, Quach, HM3 – United States Navy from Saugus, will support Eternal Valley’s family service counselors and pre-planning advisors. In addition, he will work with families to ensure their needs are met. Quach will report to the new sales manager, Ernie Maldonado, a native of Sylmar who has 12 years of experience in the funeral industry.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new family service counselors and preplanning advisors,” said Woods. “These seasoned professionals will work compassionately with families when they are facing some of the most challenging times of their lives.”
Eternal Valley’s new family service counselors include three Sylmar natives Sarbelio Tamayo with 25 years of experience in the funeral industry, Angelica Lupercio with 14 years’ experience and Jazmin De La Cruz with seven years of experience. They are joined by Manuel Sanchez from Mission Hills who has worked with families planning funerals for five years, Theresa Magpantay from Valencia who has four years’ experience and Ana Zarate, from Lancaster who is new to the industry.
The new preplanning advisors are Francisco (Franchesco) Baez of Panorama City who is a 16 year veteran of the funeral industry and Salvador Godinez from Pacoima who has worked in the field for two years.
