Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested two local men for driving under the influence in separate early-morning incidents over the weekend, according to a post on the station’s social media late Sunday afternoon.
Here’s the story:
Our patrol deputies continue to arrest drunk drivers. On Sunday morning, around 3:30 a.m., a 25-year-old male adult was arrested and on Saturday morning, around 1 a.m., a 38-year-old male adult was arrested for DUI.
These drivers should consider themselves very fortunate that they were pulled over before they ruined their life and others’ too. If someone gets behind the wheel of a car when intoxicated, it doesn’t just affect them — you never know whose life you will change forever.
Although most of our DUI arrests occur during the early morning hours, there was a DUI arrest earlier this week that occurred around 2 p.m. on Bouquet Canyon Road/Newhall Ranch Road. The driver, in his 60s, was double the legal limit.
