Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested two women and three men on multiple charges at a Canyon Country mobile home park during a gang activity sweep Thursday, according to station officials.
Here’s the story from the station’s official social media:
SAT and CIT Teams have been patrolling in SCV areas where possible gang activity was reported.
Thursday afternoon, the teams, aided by J-Team deputies, went to a mobile home park located on the 18500 block of Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country and detained 13 individuals.
Approximately half of the detainees were identified as belonging to the Brown Familia gang.
Deputies arrested, transported and booked five adults — two females and three males — on multiple charges including narcotics, no-bail warrants and a $100K warrant for assault.

Were they legal or illegal?
They (allegedly) broke the law. Obviously that makes them “illegal.”
Nice work keep it up and lets get the trash out of our town and back on track to where we used to be
Maybe the mobile home parks need to go
If you found moldy cheese in your refrigerator would you throw out the refrigerator?
Dumb
Yeah, can’t have the riffraff mucking up the place. Smh, I really hope that statement wasn’t serious.
Since a lot of them live in apartments, we should tear them down.
Awesome! The residents appreciate it so much!!!
Lol hahaha that’s not even Canyon Country that’s a picture of the corner of Valencia Boulevard in Magic Mountain Parkway
The story was so moving; it moved all the way over to Valencia & Magic Mountain Pkwy!
Just a stock photo. Same image cops used on their post. ;)
Canyon Country ; you’re new Sanctuary City??????????
THAT’S NOT CANYON COUNTRY MOBILE HOME PARK. WE ARE NO WAY NEAR SOLEDAD CYN. RD.
The 18500 block of Soledad has quite a few Mobile Home Parks
No, 18540 is Granada Villa. Across from what is now Vallarta, used to be next to the library. Just west of Sierra of Soledad. Used to live there. Mobile homes were entry level into home ownership. Sad.
Cheryl Ann Villegas go on the other side of Sierra Hwy there are 4 Mobile Home parks that I know of.
