Bunco is a game of dice, luck, and prizes. Under its original name of 8-Dice Cloth, the game was played in England during the 18th century although it wasn’t known in the United States until 1855. Throughout its history, Bunco has created a tradition of bringing communities together for lively social gatherings. Playing Bunco is great way to maintain relationships and make new friends.
“This is an outstanding opportunity for the community to come together and support a great cause,” said Mark McCorkle, Bunco Committee Chair. “Bunco is a fun game anyone can play with no experience. Bottom line, we’re helping some terrific athletes.” To sign up or for more information on the event please visit www.sosc.org/BUNCO.
If you would like to take part in raising awareness and funds but cannot attend our spectacular event, you can still help change the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities by making a donation. Various sponsorship opportunities are available. We are looking for raffle items, auction items and sponsorships including “Support an Athlete”.
