Social media is changing the way artists connect to their fans and new audiences. If you want to learn more about how you can use social media to increase your visibility and raise awareness about your work, don’t miss the “Getting Social: Art and Social Networking” panel discussion on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library, located at 24500 Main Street.
The social media focused discussion will feature a panel of experts who will review what they feel are the best social media tools for artists, share tips, and discuss concepts when branching out into the social media world.
Social media panelists for the November 12 workshop include:
· Kelly Hargraves, marketing and media relations manager for REDCAT,
· Chris Reynolds, director of marketing for GYST-Ink,
· and Mitra Cline, artist and marketing director for WAV Artist Council and art director for Ampersand Community Newspapers.
The City of Santa Clarita City Council and Arts Commission are proud to present the New Heights series, a unique opportunity for artists, performers, and arts organization representatives to expand their knowledge and learn valuable tools to increase opportunities for success.
