This is a joke, we can’t get water into the State, but we can build a High Speed Train in the desert to nowhere!
This is a waste of money. It is totally unnecessary.
Seriously?! A bad thing?! Have you not driven on the freeways lately? This is probably one of the better ideas I’ve heard of! SCV is going to have a population of over 400,000 people in the not too distant future so you may want to find a way to move people to there jobs in a safer, faster fashion, don’t you think???
Wow r u serious? Do u really believe a hight speed train is going to help scv ?no! And the impact it will have state wide will b devastating . And the money could b better spent trying to do something better with the money like find water fix roads would even rather build a prison than a hi speed train to no where. But no hi speed rail

Uh, this isn’t a commuter train to “take people to their jobs.” It would be a high-speed train, to replace airplanes that currently take people from L.A. to San Francisco. We already have trains to take people to their jobs — it’s called Metrolink — but nobody uses that, thus the condition of the “freeways lately.”
Joanne, there is no stop in SCV.
It alleviates the traffic on the 14 coming from Palmdale/Lancaster, right????

Um NOPE! It will not do anything to alleviate traffic anywhere.
As it’s called the train to nowhere. Biggest joke ever but nobody is laughing.

Maybe it will alleviate foot traffic within the terminal for flights from LAX or Burbank to SFO. :)
Not likely
No one want’s this …it is about Obama and his porky las plan.. The state was granted the money for that project…

The plan for this mess to plow right through the middle of our town, Acton. All that money, eminent domain, and what we all know will be the result of kickbacks and corruption. Kind of makes for missing the Mafia.
They need to this money to find some way to help with this DROUGHT !!!
Built right above the San Andreas fault line. I will never, eeeeeeeever board that disaster waiting to happen!

Is there any stoping it? Or is this really happening? So back a fourth…
I’ve attended 5 HSR meetings in SCV. How many is enough?
This is as stupid as the monorail in Springfield. Now a bullet train to Vegas would be a better option.
We need water capture resources not a train no one will ever pay to ride.
The people who decided to put this high speed train on the map are either clueless or blind or ignorant. With all the train crashes lately with our normal trains you would think they would reconsider this completely dangerous mode of transportation.
Joanne, we already have a train in SCV — Metrolink. I doubt the bullet train will go any faster into LA.
