Carey Ranch

[Burbank Bob Hope Airport] – Bob Hope Airport parking customers who favor the often sold-out Lot E for its easy walk to the terminal will have a new choice on Nov. 17 when the Airport opens Covered Parking Lot G just south of Lot E, with a convenient pedestrian pathway to the terminal. Covered Lot G will offer the extra amenity of covered self-parking at the rate of $23 per day, the same rate charged for Lot E.

Additionally, the Airport will reopen Parking Lot B the same day, offering economy parking across from the Airport on Hollywood Way at the rate of $13 per day. Free shuttle service from Lot B to the Airport terminals will be provided.

All parking payments at both lots will be via credit card or pre-paid tickets at self-service automatic payment stations located at express exits. Parking attendants are available via intercom located at the entrance and exit.

The entrance to Covered Lot G is on the Airport one-way loop road as it returns from the south end of the Airport property. It can be reached by following the roadway from the main entrance at Hollywood Way and Thornton Avenue, or by turning onto the roadway at the Empire Avenue entrance across from the Bob Hope Airport Train Station.

The Airport offers travel tips to help passengers prepare for a safe and enjoyable holiday. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has prepared the TSA Traveler’s Guide to help ensure passengers are familiar with what items are prohibited, including the 3-1-1 rule for liquids and gels in carry-ons, and traveling with gifts and food. Visit www.tsa.gov for more information.

Passengers parking at the Airport during peak holiday travel times are encouraged to give themselves 1.5 to 2 hours to find parking, check their luggage and go through the security checkpoint to ensure that they are at the gate in time for their flight.

Passengers can also use alternate transportation to and from the Airport, such as the Metrolink and Amtrak trains from the Bob Hope Airport Train Station on Empire Avenue; shuttles; taxis; BurbankBus; or the new Metro bus service at the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC), which serves line 222 from Hollywood to Sunland and line 169 from Warner Center to Burbank. Passengers using commercial rideshare services may be dropped off at the curb outside the terminals and picked up at the Short Term Parking Structure. There is no rideshare pick-up allowed at the terminal curb.

Airline schedules, airline websites, train and bus schedules, taxi/shuttle information, parking information and information for patrons with special needs are available on the Airport’s website, www.bobhopeairport.com.
