[KHTS]-A Santa Clarita Valley juvenile camp therapist pleaded no contest to felony child abuse, officials said Friday.
Ana Patricia Moennich, 37, worked as a therapist at Camp Mendenhall, a probation camp in the Lake Hughes area, where the victim served a juvenile sentence, said Deputy District Attorney Seth Carmack.
She pleaded no contest — which is considered a guilty plea by the court — to one count, and received a two-year suspended sentence, and five years of formal probation.
She was ordered to complete 60 days of community labor, and ordered to undergo counseling.
A protective order was placed against her so she can’t legally contact the victim, a 16-year-old boy.
Moennich was charged with having sexual relations with the teen between April 27, 2013, and Nov. 22, 2013, while he attended therapy sessions.
A criminal complaint against Moennich cites three charges: contact with a minor for sexual offense, oral copulation of a person under 18 and child molestation.
She was initially arrested Aug. 29, and she was released on $50,000 bail later that day.
She faced six years in state prison if convicted of all charges.

This is pretty outrageous. I hope that she at least must be registered as a sex offender, because she IS.
Sadly this person is again working with High School students at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
