Employees of the Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers Inc. and California Highway Patrol Explorer Program members painted the Val Verde Health Center on Sunday.

The crew started at 8 a.m. and faced the possibility of triple digit temperatures throughout the course of the day.

With a strong volunteer effort, the painting crew was finished with all projects by early afternoon. The Val Verde Health Center was in need of a makeover and the final product turned out great. Throughout the day, many Val Verde residents gave warm compliments to the efforts our crew.

SDFHC would like to offer special thanks CHP Officers David Munis, Matthew Oakes, and Richard Byrod as well as the CHP Explorers Ben Gomez, Steven Valencia, and Ryan Cabral for their volunteering their time in making this project possible.
