Circle of Hope has announced that they are moving their offices to Valencia after many years in their Plaza Posada location.
The much-loved local charity, which recently announced the retirement of Executive Director Ray Tippet, is looking forward to a number of changes in 2016. “Ray’s impending departure has motivated us to focus on our future, to continue his good work and lead by his example,” says current governing board president, Pam Ripling.
The Circle of Hope board will take the time necessary to seek out a replacement for Ray, who’s held the position of Executive Director for the past five years. In the interim, Ripling will lead the organization.
“We have what I believe to be a very unique Board of Directors… a large group of hard-working, community-minded members, each bringing different gifts to the table.
Several individuals have stepped up from the board and will temporarily take on a portion of Ray’s responsibilities. While we continue our search for the right candidate, our board will have the opportunity to become intimately acquainted with the day-to-day tasks related to serving our clients,” explains Ripling.
The nonprofit’s new headquarters will be located in the Stanford Executive Plaza at 28042 Avenue Stanford, near Rye Canyon. The phone number will remain unchanged. New neighbors include Confidential Data Destruction and Julie M. Sturgeon, CPA, among others.
The move is slated for May 1, 2016, just as the charity ramps up planning efforts for their flagship event, the Vine2Wine Classic.
“The Classic will bring changes and new surprises as well,” said Vice President and V2W committee member Janice Murray. Vine 2 Wine Classic returns to Cal Arts on August 13, 2016.
