The local all-girl teenage band, KIKstart, is going back to the Santa Clarita Street Fair on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 to support the relief efforts of the Philippine Red Cross in helping the victims of Supertyphoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Along with some of their catchy cover songs, they will also treat guests to some Christmas Songs. Parking and admission to the Street Fair, which will be held at the College of the Canyons Stadium Parking Lot (26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd. in Valencia), is free.

Official KIKstart T-shirts, and other items will be on sale at the event. There’s also some free stuff while supplies last. The band members will be available in between breaks to sign your purchases and pose with fans for pictures. 100 percent of profits from the event will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross. Meanwhile, those who wish to help even before Dec. 21 may do so. Find out how by watching the video above.

About the Philippine Red Cross

At present, the Philippine Red Cross provides six major services: Blood Services, Disaster Management Services, Safety Services, Community Health and Nursing Services, Social Services and the Volunteer Services. All of them embody the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality. These values guide and inspire all Red Cross staff and volunteers, to whom being a Red Crosser is more than just a philosophy but a way of life.  Visit  www.redcross.org.ph for more information.
