The Los Angeles Dodgers Wednesday reinstated right-handed pitcher Pedro Báez from the 10-day disabled list and placed left-handed pitcher Zac Rosscup on the 10-day disabled list with left middle finger inflammation.
The Dodgers also recalled right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned right-handed pitcher Dylan Floro to OKC.
Báez, who missed 35 games with right bicep tendinitis (retroactive to June 12), has made 30 relief appearances for Los Angeles this season, posting a 3.23 ERA (11 ER/ 30.2 IP) with 36 strikeouts.
Rosscup, 30, has made four relief appearances with Los Angeles this season, tossing a scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout. The southpaw was claimed off of waivers by the Dodgers on July 11 from the Colorado Rockies.
Buehler, who will make his 11th start of the season this afternoon against the Phillies, has appeared in 11 games (10 starts) with Los Angeles this season, going 4-2 with a 3.45 ERA (22 ER/57.1 IP) and has struck out 59 batters against just 13 walks. He has also held the opposition to a .228 average, while posting a 1.08 WHIP.
Floro, 27, has appeared in 31 games for the Reds and Dodgers this season, combining for a 3-2 record and 2.89 ERA (14 ER/ 43.2 IP) and has struck out 35 batters.
