Help The Children officials are partnering with Walmart to help those in need this holiday season.
In the current economic environment, many people have lost jobs and find themselves in financially challenging situations they never imagined they would experience.
In addition, many seniors and veterans are now in the ranks of families struggling to be self-sufficient when the cost of living has risen to unexpected levels.
Many people in Santa Clarita are looking for a glimmer of hope this holiday season. For the last four years, we have provided over 5,000 shopping visits each year, while also distributing resources to over 20 other outreaches in our community.
Walmart and Help The Children are partnering to help provide this much needed support for the Santa Clarita community. On Saturday, December 12, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., volunteers at Walmart on Kelly Johnson and Carl Boyer will invite shoppers to donate holiday foods and toys to make Christmas for these struggling families a little brighter.
