Updated 9:34 pm: A Canyon Country woman reported missing by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials was found out of state Monday around 8:30 p.m., according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s officials.

Detectives had asked for the public’s assistance Monday in locating a missing person.

“She was found in Las Vegas, just about a half hour ago,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “They notified her parents and they notified our Homicide Bureau, and all is well.”

The missing person, Nicollette Amber Lucia, was last seen in the 26000 block of Neff Court in the city of Canyon Country, on Friday at 3:30 am.

She was found by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department police officers. The woman was 26, but family members were concerned for her safety.

“She’s been seen frequently in Lancaster and the Santa Clarita Valley area,” according to a Sheriff’s Department deputy with the Headquarters Bureau.

[KHTS] – Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

The missing person, Nicollette Amber Lucia, was last seen in the 26000 block of Neff Court in the city of Canyon Country, on Friday at 3:30 a.m.

She left on foot and has not been heard from since.

“She’s been seen frequently in Lancaster and the Santa Clarita Valley area,” according to a Sheriff’s Department deputy with the Headquarters Bureau.

No other information was available, the deputy said.

The report is being investigated by a detective with the Missing Persons Bureau of the Homicide Unit, which handles all such reports.

She was last seen wearing a purple flannel shirt and blue jeans.

Her family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance.
