Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan posted the fourth ballot counting update for the Nov. 6 General Election late Tuesday.
The update includes 167,071 ballots processed since Election Night, consisting of Vote by Mail and Provisional ballots. The total election results count is now 2,799,113, which is 53.82 percent of eligible Los Angeles County voters.
The estimated number of outstanding ballots left to be counted is 261,000 consisting of the following:
* Provisional ballots: 247,000
* Vote by Mail ballots: 10,000 (includes ballots received through Early Voting and VBM Drop-Offs)
* Conditional Voter Registration ballots: 4,000
These results are subject to change throughout the Official Election Canvass period as our canvass staff process VBM envelopes and de-process precinct supplies. This estimate includes additional Vote by Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received through Friday, Nov. 9.
