Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives seek the public’s assistance in locating an at-risk missing person, Joseph Thomas Donato, an 81-year-old white man who suffers from dementia, according to his family.

Donato was last seen on Sunday, July 1, at 10:30 p.m. leaving his Stevenson Ranch residence in his red 2016 Toyota Corolla, California license plate 7VBK750.

Donato is described as 5’8” tall, 175 lbs., with gray hair, brown eyes, and a gray beard.

When last seen he was wearing a red t-shirt, blue shorts and blue shoes.

Donato suffers from dementia and his family his very concerned.

Anyone with information about Donato’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, Missing Persons Unit, Sergeant Nava or Detective Abraham at 323-890-5500.
