Do you take the easy route with a bag and tissue paper because your wrapping job looks like a crumpled mess? Join JCI Santa Clarita for its gift wrapping training event and learn to wrap like a pro just in time for the holidays and our upcoming Santa’s Helpers Holiday event.
Professional gift wrappers from Pom Paperie at Westfield Town Center will conduct training sessions to teach Santa Clarita residents and shoppers how to properly wrap a gift.
The event is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Westfield Town Center on the 2nd floor near the old Sears – conveniently located above Santa himself. Efforts will be made to socially distance participants. The event will have three 30-minute sessions at the following times:
1. 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
2. 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
3. 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
To attend, we are asking for a monetary donation of any amount or a new, unwrapped gift that will go to our Santa’s Helpers event. Monetary donations can be made to the JCI PayPal or Venmo account at the event. Gift cards to major retailers will also be accepted. Gifts can be for kids of any age, including teenagers. Participants may register for the event through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com. Walk-ins will also be welcome.
