A new art exhibit, “Everything in Between: The Art of Susan Staudt,” will be on display from Tuesday, Aug. 9, to Friday, Dec. 9, in the Community Room at the Old Town Newhall Library, 24500 Main Street.
“Everything in Between” is a collection of art from Susan Staudt. The Santa Clarita artist is self-taught and has had her work shown at galleries in Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Santa Clarita.
During the nineties, Staudt developed her concept of line and color with mixed media and oil paintings. Her paintings are a reflection of the surrounding environment, emotional expression and streams of color from nature’s palette.
Over the last few years, Staudt’s work has been featured in Santa Clarita City Hall’s First Floor Gallery exhibitions, as well as Santa Clarita Summer Art Slam. “Everything in Between” is Staudt’s first solo exhibition.
A reception will be hosted on Wednesday, Aug. 17, for “Everything in Between,” at the Old Town Newhall Library in the Community Room. The free public reception for the exhibit will allow guests to meet the artist and enjoy light appetizers and entertainment while exploring the exhibit.
